Empowering Communities

Our approach is that our work is not charity, it is solidarity, a strengths-based mentality that reduces stigma of receiving assistance and encourages people to take agency.  We provide the following services:

• Pantries that provide mobile food pantry services and emergency food response, furniture, and clothing, among other goods.  
• Monthly diaper, baby creams and wipes drive and giveaway.
• Farm workers and displaced workers emergency assistance grants.  
• Immigration assistance and referrals.
• Support groups for survivors of domestic violence.
• Special events including a holiday toy and good distribution event.

We also provide educational programs that help lift families out of poverty and empower them to succeed in their new community.  Programs include:

• Reading and writing workshops.
• Mental health awareness events.
• Information workshops on diversity and inclusion, supporting children with special needs such as autism, and financial literacy.
• Immigration information.
• Arts & crafts and dance workshops.
